In September 20, a historic moment unfolded as the Lok Sabha, India’s lower house of Parliament, passed the Women’s Reservation Bill after 27 years since its initial introduction. Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the proceedings in the newly inaugurated Parliament building by presenting the long-awaited Women’s Reservation Bill 2023.
