COVID-19 has adversely impacted the world at large; especially women entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, these troubles were doubled in our country, which has a vast gender gap across
almost all social indicators thus making women even more vulnerable. However, gauging the
scenario, women were quick to change their business models as they strived to survive the
impact of the pandemic. According to a survey conducted by Bain & Co., Google, and AWE
Foundation, on around 350 women entrepreneurs, a good 54% had already made business
shifts — including new products or services — another 24% planned to change by December and
about 90% said they believe they will survive the crisis.
