> Women Entrepreneurs’ Loan Programme

The Women Entrepreneurs’ Loan Programme is an innovative loan programme initiated in response to low levels of women’s employment and entrepreneurship in Croatia. It was set up by the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) in cooperation with the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts (which provides funds for interest-rate subsidies) and the Croatian Agency for SMEs and Investments (HAMAG Invest) which provides guarantees to female entrepreneurs undertaking loans.

> Croatian Women Entrepreneurs Association (WECroatia)

Croatian Women Entrepreneurs Association – WECroatia was founded in 2012.The role of the association involves many factors – like motivation and promotion of women entrepreneurship, organization, assistance and education for the training of women entrepreneurs and those who wish to become, counselling and support for women entrepreneurs for opening up and entering foreign markets, business networking and best practices sharing, promoting heroes of women entrepreneurship.

WECroatia is non-profit organization whose main goal is to assist women entrepreneurs by selecting and filtering important communication for them, inform and connect them and help them gain necessary skills to develop and grow they own business faster and easier.

Their vision is – to provide and generate added value by promoting heroes of women entrepreneurship heroes and assist them to achieve even greater success

Aurora.hr women entrepreneurs platform is basically a digital platform to support female entrepreneurs. It is a US-supported innovative web platform to support women entrepreneurs with resources including mentoring opportunities, scholarships, and financing.

Participants throughout Croatia have built new networks of women entrepreneurs, business developers, and community leaders. This project was part of a larger U.S. initiative to strengthen Croatia’s entrepreneurial business climate and increase trade between Croatia and the United States.

> Association of Organizations of Mediterranean Businesswomen (AFAEMME)

The Association of Organizations of Mediterranean Businesswomen (AFAEMME) is a federation of businesswomen associations, which was launched in 2002 in Barcelona (Spain) and which is currently comprised of 65 member organizations from 24 Mediterranean countries.

What is the role? AFAEMME is a coordinator of European and Mediterranean business and gender equality projects and ground-breaking research, a networking platform for businesswomen and women entrepreneurs from all over the Mediterranean and a Euro- Mediterranean lobby organization.

The objectives are – to strengthen gender equality, economically empower women, promote women entrepreneurship and facilitate the access of women to decision-making positions in the economy.

The Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ program provides women entrepreneurs with advice, resources and access to unlock their full potential and realize their ambition.

Launched in 2008, the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ program targets women entrepreneurs, who have built profitable companies, but have not yet found the essential tools needed to scale sustainably.

EY provides program participants evergreen access to our vast resources, rich networks and know-how, helping to strengthen their abilities to become market leaders.
