About 70 per cent of the beneficiaries under the Mudra Yojana are women entrepreneurs and a study suggests that this scheme has increased the economic power of women and their participation in social decisions, said President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday. Addressing the Parliament on Tuesday, she said women’s self-confidence has got a boost after the houses allotted under the PM Awas Yojana have been registered in their names.
