Gender is a prominent issue globally and it is gaining importance in becoming a significant component in climate policies. In India, a plus point is that it has moved forward in recognizing the climate crisis but, on the other hand, it is slow in recognizing the gender dimension of climate. In the post-pandemic environment, agriculture will remain a key sector. And, women are significantly affected by the climate crisis and face many adverse effects like – relocation and displacement, loss of income, and health deficiencies, among others.
