Taxpayer Outreach Programme Held in Guwahati City

The Income Tax Department has been celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav – the celebration and commemoration activities promoted by the Government of India to mark the occasion of 75 years of India’s independence. Sukhveer Choudhary, Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals-Central) delivered the introductory address wherein he acknowledged and appreciated the significant role played by taxpayers in nation building. The outreach programme was focussed on Transforming Women’s Participation in MSMEs and business sector. The outreach programme saw active participation of women entrepreneurs and members of FICCI Flo.
