Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday rolled out Telangana’s first ever dedicated MSME policy that is aimed at boosting this critical sector, considered the backbone of the economy, after the crippling blow dealt by the Covid-19 pandemic. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu and industries minister Duddilla Sridar Babu were also present at the unveiling of the policy that attempts to address six key challenges hampering the growth of MSMEs in the state – – access to affordable land, finance, good quality raw materials, skilled labour, markets and new technology.
