Young Indians – Madurai Chapter, the youth wing of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Madurai, presented ‘Evolve – A Leadership Conclave’ on Saturday. The event saw more than 550 delegates in attendance, from all over the state of Tamil Nadu, and several riveting discourses by eminent personalities.
Leading figures from a number of industrial domains spoke about various matters, including business development, creation of entrepreneurial opportunities, and more. This included top officials of successful brands like Naturals Salon and Spa, Toni and Guy, Venus Home Appliances, Hot Breads, and Chai Kings, to name a few.
While Nagaraj K, chairman of CII Madurai Zone and managing director of Aparajitha Corporate Services, delivered the inaugural address for the event, Dr Sathish Devadoss, vice chairman of CII Madurai Zone and medical director of Devadoss Hospital, presented the special address. Also, among the special guests at the event was actor and film director Karu Palaniappan.
The event also hosted a few panel discussions, among which, Auto Annadurai’s interactions with the delegates was particularly notable. The TEDx speaker, and also the man behind the auto model which offers a range of additional services, shared several experiences about his journey, from being just a regular auto driver, to becoming an entrepreneur, by building a unique auto model, complete with Wifi and the latest gadgets.
He said, “The most important part of any brand’s success is the customer. We should look at what the customer’s expectations and needs are and try to fulfil them. Every single customer is important and building customer loyalty is the only way for brands to thrive.”
