FWEAN initiates connecting women entrepreneurs with local governments in empowerment drive

Federation of Women Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) in collaboration with Godawari Municipality has successfully concluded a comprehensive sanitary napkin production training on Tuesday. The five-day training held from May 3 at Surakchit Aawash Griha established by Godawari Municipality aimed to empower women in the community by providing them with essential knowledge on menstrual hygiene, eco-friendly sanitary napkin production, packaging, costing and pricing. The training, which saw the participation of 21 women, was organized under the Urban Resilience project supported by Alliance 2015 (People in Need, Helvetas Nepal and WHH Nepal). FWEAN and OM Nepal supported the purchase of the sanitary napkin production machine, while Godawari Municipality managed the training and procurement of raw materials. Read More
