Empowering Women: Key Highlights from the Budget 2025

> In this Budget, the proposed development measures span 10 broad areas, focusing on the poor, youth, farmers and women – FM
> A new scheme has been launched to offer term loans with a five-year tenure, benefiting 5 lakh women from SC/ST communities.
> The Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 programme provides nutritional support to more than 8 crore children, 1 crore pregnant women and lactating mothers all over the country, and about 20 lakh adolescent girls in aspirational districts and the north-east region. The cost norms for the nutritional support will be enhanced appropriately.
> For 5 lakh first-time entrepreneurs, including women, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, a new scheme, to be launched, to provide term loans up to ₹ 2 crore during the next 5 years
