Dungarpur woman entrepreneur impresses PM with her zeal for spreading awareness among women

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi interacted with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra today via video conferencing. Thousands of beneficiaries of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra from across the country joined the event. The programme was also joined by Union Ministers, MPs, MLAs and local level representatives. The Prime Minister interacted with Smt Mamta Dhindhore of Dungarpur Rajasthan who is self employed under Gramin Ajivika Mission and is attached to a self help group. The Prime Minister noted that she is well conversant in Gujarati too. She comes from a joint family of 5 and works with 7500 women in 150 groups. She creates awareness, provides training and help in getting loans for the members of the group. Read More
