AISECT Implementing Skill Training, Livelihood Under RISE Programme in Eight States

A skills training, and livelihood enhancement programme is framed under the Rural India Skill Empowerment (RISE) programme. AISECT is implementing this project in 8 states, i.e.  Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha with facilitation from the respective State Skill Development Missions, using adequate human resources at each level. It is initiated by Microsoft in partnership with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The programme envisages empowering women and youth from underserved communities and remote areas, by providing skills training in Digital Productivity, Communication Skills, Employability Skills, and Entrepreneurship Skills.
