The Indian startup ecosystem has witnessed substantial growth over the past decade, particularly since the establishment of the Narendra Modi-led government. This surge in the number of startups has been accompanied by a notable rise in female participation, a trend that continues to gain momentum. According to government data, more than 48% of Indian startups have at least one female director, with 73,151 such startups currently operating in the country.
