MSME launches Yashaswini Initiative to support women entrepreneurs; First phase to start on July 19 in Jaipur

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises launched a new initiative called the ‘Yashaswini’ initiative under the ‘Empower Her Udan’ campaign on Thursday, July 18, to encourage and support women entrepreneurs across the country. Under this campaign, the first phase is set to start on Friday, July 19, in Jaipur. According to the Director of MSME, Ankita Pandey, around 600 women entrepreneurs in the state will be participating in the event, which will start at the Rajasthan International Centre today. Pandey said that the initiative is being introduced to provide a formal education for women operating commercial enterprises, along with creating awareness among them of all the MSME schemes they can utilise.
