Distt admin Kulgam organizes Capacity Building Workshop on Women Entrepreneurship

District Administration Kulgam on Friday conducted a day-long capacity building workshop on Women Entrepreneurship. The event was inaugurated and presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan. In his address, DC highlighted the immense business opportunities emerging from India’s status as the world’s 4th largest economy, along with the transformative potential of having over 80 crore internet users, which opens up vast markets and digital avenues for entrepreneurs, especially women. The workshop featured a series of technical sessions focusing on key areas such as enterprise development, startup ecosystems, sectoral potential within the district, and government schemes for financial and institutional support.
