The Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan which is set to be implemented by the Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM) Society under the Panchayat and Rural Development (P&RD) Department to promote members of self-help groups (SHGs) as entrepreneurs, has been approved to be executed in phases by the Assam Government in the State Cabinet meeting on January 7. The scheme, expected to uplift and empower rural women entrepreneurs, will provide eligible SHG members with a Rs.10,000 Entrepreneurship Fund I to initiate at least one enterprise. Read More
