Divvya.A.Singh is an Educationist , turned Child Healer, Professional Handwriting Analyst And Graphotherapist. We engage her in a tete-a-tete as she shares her experiences of tracing people’s way to transformation through Grapho-therapy.
Ques. What Prompted you to venture on the entrepreneurial journey?
Ans. It’s a story of a vibrant spirit lying deep within my heart, yearning to break free from the chains of self-doubt and monotony of routine life. Despite my achievements as an Educationist, I sensed an invisible barrier limiting my true potential. My 19-year journey in education has been a roller coaster. Throughout my career, each parent and student interaction has been a source of inspiration. Through graphology, I witnessed their remarkable transformations and realized my calling extends beyond the classroom. This insight led to the creation of Selfwrite_Graphology Studio—an avenue dedicated to personal and professional growth through handwriting and fostering the right mindset.
Ques. What challenges did you face along the way?
Ans. My journey started with lot of adventure, particularly when introducing a relatively lesser known service like graphology. General public has limited awareness about Graphology so educating potential clients about the benefits and legitimacy of graphology as a tool for personal and professional growth was the biggest challenge. We kept on doing Intensive Awareness programs for students, parents and professionals to give them hands-on knowledge. Establishing credibility and trust as a graphology expert took some time. Attracting clients and building a loyal customer base was another issue. Marketing graphology services is not easy due to its niche nature. In the digital age, there are software tools that claim to provide handwriting analysis. We need to differentiate their services by highlighting the human touch, personalized approach, and expertise we bring to the analysis.
Ques. What is the real value of graphology and how can society/ individuals benefit from it?
Ans. The real value of graphology lies in its potential to provide insights into an individual’s personality, behaviour, and psychological traits through the analysis of handwriting. Graphology can help individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves, uncovering hidden aspects of their personality, strengths, and potential areas for growth. This self-awareness can contribute to personal development and improved self-esteem. Graphology can provide insights into Relationship, Emotional Health, Conflict Resolution, Leadership Development, Parenting and Education, Wellness and Stress Management. Graphology is the backbone of forensic investigation too. Health threats like diabetes, hypertension, migraine, psychosomatic disorders, ENT, blood related issues can not only be investigated but can be controlled/cured through Graphotherapy.
Ques. Where do you aspire to be 10 years down the line?
Ans. Ah, the moment is almost upon me – a decade from now, and my dream will have blossomed into reality. Our brainchild, Selfwrite-Graphology Studio, will have etched its name as a distinguished brand in the realm of graphology. Our overarching vision unfurls as a tapestry, weaving awareness of this intricate science into the fabric of each individual’s consciousness. Through an array of enlightening programs, we aim to illuminate minds.
Our aspiration doesn’t end at awareness. We envision nurturing a cadre of exceptional professionals poised to make a difference across diverse domains such as Medical Science, Educational Centers, Forensic Laboratories, Government Offices, and the Banking Sector. Each of these sectors will benefit from the expertise we cultivate.
My purpose is crystal clear – to kindle unflinching courage within the hearts of 100,000 individuals, emboldening them to vanquish their most profound apprehensions. The outcome: a life where aspirations materialize into tangible reality.
Ques. Any word of wisdom for budding entrepreneurs who wish to follow in your footsteps?
Ans. Nothing is impossible, go chase your dream and be you. “Create an exciting journey with purpose and passion, turn every step of challenge into triumph and become a masterpiece of growth” For me, Selfwrite-Graphology Studio is not just a pursuit; it’s my passion and my purpose – my ‘Ikigai’. The sheer joy I experience is indescribable when I receive numerous acknowledgments brimming with gratitude, attesting to the positive impact I’ve had on their lives.
