‘She Means Business’ Program
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in collaboration with facebook launched ‘She Means Business’ Program for women entrepreneurs residing in Odisha. This scheme will enable 25,000 women entrepreneurs and self help groups by providing training on digital marketing skills in the time span of one year. The Government will empower women who have high aspirations and dream big. Training will be provided as to how to open business in Facebook and about timely delivery, quality assurance and so on.

Odisha Start-up helpline number
The Start-up portal also helps aspiring entrepreneurs with a helpline number 1800-345-7100. People with dreams of establishing their own start-ups can call in this number for getting necessary information about registration, getting subsidised loans and getting recognition of their start-ups.

Start-up Odisha web portal
The vision of this portal is to emerge amongst the top three “start-up “hubs in India by 2020. This will be achieved through strategic partnerships, conducive ecosystem, investment and policy intervention. It will build up a start-up ecosystem in Odisha in order to facilitate the state to become one among the three Start-up destinations in the country. It will encourage incubators which are sector specific ones and that are in sync with the strength and requirement of the state. It aims to enable at least 1000 start-ups in next five years.

Youth Innovation Award
Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik gave away Youth Innovation Award to 20 young entrepreneurs in order to motivate young entrepreneurs who can help in the development of Odisha by their ideas. 63 ideas were shortlisted among which 16 new ideas and 3 developing prototypes were awarded.

Odisha MSME Development Policy 2016
the MSME Department of Odisha formulated this policy for the growth and development of MSME sector in Odisha. This sector brings in employment opportunities and develops the economy of the state. It was announced on 22nd November 2016. This policy specifies capital investment subsidy to MSMEs and signifies development of entrepreneurship amongst SC, St, differently able persons and women.

Odisha Government offers 25% capital investment subsidy to new MSEs
Entrepreneurs who want to set up new micro and small enterprises (MSEs) can avail incentives offered by Odisha government. Government has laid down these incentives for sustainable development of MSME (micro, small and medium enterprises) sector. The new industrial MSME units, as per MSME Development Policy-2015, can avail capital investment subsidy of 25 per cent on the fixed capital investment with upper limit of benefit fixed at Rs one crore.Scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, women and technical degree and diploma holding entrepreneurs and units coming up in the backward region will be entitled subsidy of 12 per cent on fixed capital investment with an upper limit of Rs 10 lakhs.http://www.business-standard.com/article/economy-policy/odisha-to-offer-25-capital-investment-subsidy-to-new-mses-115100800944_1.html
