An entrepreneurial meet-up was recently organised in Noida by WinningStree, a digital community that features incredible journeys of women from all sections of society. More than 30 women entrepreneurs from the NCR attended the event to share their inspiring stories and encourage each other to conquer newer heights in the world of business.
The attendees also celebrated the achievements of women entrepreneurs in 2019, as they head towards the new year, with renewed vigour and grit. In keeping with the theme of the meet, the women were decked-up in bright black and red colours, and posed for photo opportunities to commemorate the event.
Tanusri Chakraborty, the founder of the group, said, “Women are powerful from within, and I would like to form an army of women across the nation who are empowered, powerful, and ready to empower other ladies in their journey.”
The event also saw two special guest in attendance, both of whom were senior individuals above 65 years of age, invited to share inspiring stories from their own journeys. While 75-year-old Dolly Kapoor is a Salon owner from New Delhi, Sunita Khanna is a former teacher,who is today an NGO activist and environmentalist.
An initiative by women and for women, WinningStree uses its dedicated web portal and presence in all forms of social media to support and empower ordinary women from all walks of life.
