India Assist was recently presented the Indian Women Excellence and Leadership Award by the Women Innovation Entrepreneurship Foundation (WIEF). Founded in 2017, India assist has been working tirelessly towards its goal of making travel in India stress free and safe for foreign tourists. It serves as a ‘First-Call Assistance’ for any traveller needing assistance, and operates through a dedicated mobile application, as well.
Moqierish Tak, the Co-founder of India Assist, accepted the award at the National Summit on Women & Education Empowerment 2020, which was held at Ashok Hotel on 17th January.
The charged up evening saw an electrifying summit, featuring a number of highly successful women entrepreneurs, enterprise leaders, education change makers, and entrepreneurial gurus, at both the state level and the national level.
The summit was organised by the Women Innovation Entrepreneurship Foundation, in order to work towards its larger goal of women empowerment through entrepreneurship. It is aimed at motivating more and more women in business and enabling them to advance their careers, with the help of real, practical advice, from established leaders in the industry.
The event also had a number of renowned personalities in attendance, with Shri Nitin Gadkari – Cabinet Minister of MSME and Women and Child Development, present as the chief guest for the evening.
