Entrepreneurship Quotient (EQ) Test

EQ is a tool to measure entrepreneurship quotient in people. The word entrepreneurship, as it is understood, is the process of translating ideas into products or services which customers or society will pay for. Thus for a business, entrepreneurship sits at the cusp of idea and execution. For an entrepreneurship driven individual, this implies THINKER - DOER paradigm – that is the ability to generate ideas that have commercial or social potential and to make these ideas real. The Entrepreneurship School has developed EQ tool that measures the entrepreneurship quotient in people on behavioural and execution dimensions. In the basic form, the EQ assesses 8 to 10 parameters for each dimension through a self-declaration online questionnaire. The basic EQ Test takes about 5 mins. National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN)

Established in 2003, this is Wadhwani Foundation’s flagship initiative, which considers entrepreneurship as a catalyst for job creation and economic growth in India. The mission is to create and support high growth entrepreneurs. It was co-founded by IIT-Bombay, IIT- Ahmedabad, BITS-Pilani, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research-Mumbai and Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology-Bangalore. It was primarily supported by the Wadhwani Foundation. Till now, NEN has resulted in 2000 new start-ups with 12000+ direct and 50,000+ indirect jobs and is now tracking 1,500+ new companies each year. NEN has build network with 600 colleges, 1000+mentors and 3200 faculty in India that inspires, educates and supports emerging entrepreneurs.

A women Entrepreneur Development Programme- helps women achieve their business goals especially in terms of fundability, scalability and revenue growth. It has been planned in 5 cities i.e. Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi and Jaipur and it's exclusively for women.

Mukti Community Development Fund (MCDF) and Self Help Group (SHG)

Mukti provides training to women entrepreneurs residing in rural India. Mukti provides a livelihood and business development training on requirement basis before providing the loan to women. This enables the beneficiaries to take business decisions carefully. Anyone who is interested in social investment can join the group and contribute in the fund.

Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), Gandhinagar

This offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Business Entrepreneurship (PGDM-BE):The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) provides a two-year, full-time, residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Business Entrepreneurship (PGDM-BE). It is now in its sixteenth year of entrepreneurship education. It encourages critical and creative thinking, to create their aspirations, and facilitate new ventures through a practical learning experience.
i)Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Management : 1 year course through distance learning, UGC, New Delhi recognised. The course begins in the month of January, April, July and October. Interested candidates can enrol themselves in any of the batches. Degree/Diploma holders in any discipline can only apply for this course. The course fee is 12,500.
